Drawing tips: Standing

• In contrapposto the hip rises over the weight-bearing leg while the shoulders tilt the other way.
• Drop a vertical from the pit of the neck: it should land on or near the supporting foot.
• Feet point in slightly different directions; keeping them parallel makes a figure look stiff.
